Dr Belinda van der Westhuizen is a science education researcher and lecturer at the University of the Witwatersrand. Her research focuses on personalised and humanising pedagogies in science teacher education, particularly through digital and blended learning environments. She is also the Director of Education and co-founder of Wingu Academy, an innovative online schooling platform focused on personalised education and 4IR skills development. Her work bridges educational research and practice to develop scalable models for future-focused learning.
