Unlocking and Understanding Career Planning for the Future

PUBLISHED ON:August 26, 2026

Choosing subjects and thinking about a future career can feel like a big decision, especially when the world of work is changing so quickly. At Wingu Academy, we believe learners and parents should have access to practical guidance that helps turn uncertainty into informed, confident choices.Helping Learners Make Informed ChoicesCareer planning is about much more than deciding what job you might want one day. The subjects learners choose, the skills they develop, and their understanding of future study and career opportunities can all influence the options available to them later.

This session is designed to give learners and parents a clearer understanding of career planning, future opportunities, and the importance of making informed subject choices.

Participants will hear directly from experienced education and career guidance professionals who understand both the academic journey and the decisions learners face as they prepare for life beyond school.

Anne-Marie Stanisavljevic will share her career guidance expertise, helping learners and parents better understand career planning and how to approach important subject and future career decisions.

Why Career Planning Matters

The workplace learners will eventually enter continues to evolve. New industries, technologies and career paths are emerging, while many traditional roles are changing.

Effective career planning therefore isn’t simply about choosing a profession. It is about understanding a learner’s strengths and interests, exploring realistic opportunities and making academic choices that keep the right doors open.

For parents, having access to professional guidance can also make it easier to support these decisions with greater confidence and perspective.
